Before I get flamed for my first post on this blog, let me explain the situation.
For my work, we are now exploring porting some of our software to Linux. Now, I have worked with Linux in the past, and I am far from its biggest fan. But, when it comes to setting it up, I kinda expect things to be fairly simple. Well, apparently, those of us who choose to use Virtual PC to create virtualized environments (mostly because VMware doesn't work very well...or really at all...under Vista 64-bit) are in for a shocker. With both Ubuntu and Fedora, I have run into garbled screens. Ubuntu was kind enough to wait until post-install, but Fedora did it from the get-go. In addition, neither of them had mouse support.
